Saturday, February 23, 2008
Events begin at 9 AM with the
Annual Bed Race and Dog Jog, then
the Grand Parade down Bay St. at
10 AM. The festival site will open
at 11 AM with a carnival, food, live
entertainment, a classic car show
in downtown and several fun
contests, including the Cherry
Pie Eating Contest, the Celebrity
Hot Dog Eating Contest, the
Top Dawg Amateur Dog Contest
and the hilarious Citrus Squeeze.

Sunday is Fiesta Day at GeorgeFest
beginning at 11 AM. Enjoy the
carnival, live entertainment and
food. At 4 PM the annual button
drawing contest will be held at
the Band Shell. Buy a collectible
button for $2.00 and get a chance
at the drawing with 100 items,
gift baskets and gift certificates
from local businesses. The
festival will end at 5 PM, but
the carnival will remain open
during evening hours.
