Fort Myers

This inland waterway is
a favorite
winter home of the West Indian
Manatee. It is the single largest
congregation of manatees in the
world. Warm water discharge
from a nearby power plant
creates a natural migration
of these gentle giants.

1 hour narrated eco-tours provide
informative insights into the life
of this unique species and
other wildlife in the Orange and
Caloosahatchee Rivers. Tours are
conducted year round with safe
boats and experienced captains.
Tours depart four times a day
10 am, noon, 2 pm,
7 days a week.
