The Marine Science program consists
of 4 individual learning stations set
up on the deck of the Coast Guard
Inspected charter boat. It is based
on the food chain/web with a strong
emphasis on the importance of
water quality and includes learning
stations for: Plankton, Fish, Water
Quality and the Hydrologic
Water Cycle.

Aquarian
Quest, Inc. is a non-profit education organization sailing with
students and adults sailing primarily in Sarasota & Manatee
Counties.
The
education program is all hands-
on and engages students physically
from the
raising the sails through all the learning stations. It is in alignment
with Sunshine State Standards for Science Education. They have sailed
with
over 10,000 students from public school districts along the Florida Gulf
Coast from Pensacola to Ft. Myers.
Our program runs 3 hours and
is appropriate for 2nd thru 12th grades.
We can accommodate 33 students
and 2
chaperones.
