Nokomis

The comfortable, open
air duck-
boat
is U.S. Coast Guard certified
for
up to 27 passengers. The captain
points out nature habitats and
other highlights of land and sea.
You'll also witness the ease in
which the craft crosses a
shallow
sandbar using its
wheels for power.

It's
fun, relaxing and informative
aboard the Viet Nam era military
surplus vehicle known as a Larc 5:

Amphibious Tours
Your 90 minute
tour begins on land then travels picturesque inland waterways of Venice
and Casey Key.
Often dolphins swim alongside and an occasional
manatee is sighted. You'll see ospreys, other wildlife, and
beautiful waterfront sights.

J.D Dolphin
enters the water at the old railroad station park in
Venice and returns to shore
at Higel Park boat launch on
Venice island. You'll then
travel by land down scenic
Venice Avenue
and over
the bridge that you had
earlier
gone under
by water. (below)

Owners / Captains Leonard and Shane
Stewart (below) ensure
a safe and enjoyable tour.
Captain Leonard has been navigating the local waters
for more than 40 years.
