building from 1926. It serves
tasty food in a nostalgic and
charming backdrop. Stroll
Broadway to the Fellsmere
Inn,(above) an antique
shop built in 1914.

Each January the
Fellsmere
Frogleg Festival
takes place
in town.

Fellsmere



A few miles east of 1-95,
southwest of Melbourne,
is a tiny village that is
pleasantly lost in time.

Fellsmere was at one time a
wet marshland that was
purchased and developed
by E. Nelson Fell in 1910.
An engineer by trade he
drained the land into
canals and built roads.
