Circa 1926 * Fellsmere

Antiques and memorabilia adorn
the walls that reach to a fourteen
ft. high ceiling. Table tops reveal a
variety of newspaper articles that
date from 1912-1921 and reflect
the golden age of Fellsmere.
Wood and door frames are the
original cypress that was
logged locally. Wainscot
around the interior walls
was the original tounge
in groove ceiling.

The renaissance-styled building
began as a sales office during
the land boom of the 20's. It
was headquarters of a sugar
company through the early
50's and later served as a
municipal building. Falling
into disrepair in the 1980's
it was purchased by Fran
Adams (right) in 1995
for historic restoration.
Fran invites you to stop
by and try a taste of
"Old Florida".
