This Florida Secret was founded
by Arkie Dell Hopkins in 1949 as
a boarding house with meals
included. Now deceased, Mrs.
Hopkins has left a wonderful
legacy of southern tradition.
It is owned by her son Ed,
who sees that the " culinary
rituals" are maintained.

The kitchen staff still employs
two ladies from the early years.
Chief Cook Cora has been with
the restaurant for 40 years.
