is a remaining vestige of
the quickly vanishing "Old
Florida." Aside from food
and hardware items you
will find a genteel hospitality
that is reminiscent of an
earlier, simpler, age.
The town of Two Egg is said to
have gotten its name from
drummers (grocery salesmen)
who traveled to the tiny hamlet
and were only able to barter
their goods for "two eggs".
