( 1930- 1938)of singer Ray 
Charles been restored. It
 lies on

The modest wooden home
had no electricity or indoor
plumbing. A hand-primed
pump provided water from
a well. A fireplace in one of
 the four small rooms provided
warmth. Open windows and
doors allowed breezed to
cool the house.
