Overstreet House C. 1865

The main building features a variety
of collections: The replicated offices
of a pioneer doctor and dentist,
Indian artifacts, dolls, toys
period costumes and more.



Lacoochee Schoolhouse C. 1930

All but two of the main buildings
are historically significant, moved
from surrounding communities
to the museum grounds. There
is also a satellite location at
the nearby Dade City Depot.

Annually the museum sponsors a
number of events and activities
including:

Pioneer Days Festival
Labor Day Weekend

Country Christmas
in December

Cowboy Artists of Florida
Art Show in January

Farm Festival and Quilt Show
in February.

Black Tie Blue Jean
Country Fall Extravaganza
in February

Travel through history back to the
19th and early 20th century of
Florida. Nestled on 21 beautiful
acres in the rolling hills of west
central Florida are structures
 housing the treasures of
an earlier era.

In addition to the main exhibit building
visitors are invited to browse through
the Lacoochee Schoolhouse (left)
the Overstreet House (above left
 & below) the Trilby Depot, General
Store, Enterprise Methodist Church
 and the Mabel Jordan Barn.
