The essence of "Old Florida"

cabins along the shady banks
of Cross Creek.
The sleepy settlement lies beside
a creek (below) that runs between
two large lakes. It achieved fame
upon release of a motion
picture of the same
name in the '80s.
Next to the cabins is the Yearling
Restaurant, also a Florida Secret
opened in 1952. The magic
